What a privilege it was to host our oldest grandsons high school graduation at our home. It was December 27th, 2014. It was a small gathering,
just the way he wanted but it was special.
We are so proud of him having completed all the needed credits to receive his High School diploma.
The table and house was decorated. His mom and dad did a great job choosing balloons, cups, napkins, plates etc.
A sweet picture with mom who spent many hour's instructing, helping, praying and homeschooling him for the past 5 or 6 years. It wasn't always easy but with patience and persistence by both Ansir and our youngest daughter, it was accomplished.
Here are a couple of fun family pictures
with both mom and dad.
One of the guests was a close friend of Ansir's and the family. They have been friends for over 9 years and enjoy time together when Ansir is in town. She is also a senior and will graduate this spring.
Dad and mom share a few words, memories, and even a few emotional tears as they present Ansir with his diploma.
You can see the pride in Ansirs face and rightfully so.
Both mom and dad are proud of this great accomplishment.

The beautiful Ice cream cake was a gift from his parents.
It was as yummy as it was beautiful.
This is a custom we learnt by doing mission work on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, the showing of the cake so all get to see it before it is cut.
We like the custom and ask Ansir to show his cake to all who were there.
Below he is proud to show the cake to his grandfather Jeff.
Everyone enjoyed a big slice of the ice cream cake.
Ansir took his time as he read each card and thanked everyone both for coming and the card or gift.
This nice portfolio from me and papa will come in handy when he applies for jobs or for attending college. Our prayer is for God's guidance and to use him according to His will.
In Jeremiah 29:11, God tells us, "For I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Now he can write, write, write with this nice pen with his name on. |
HEY Thanks, a box of candy, now were talking!
Ansir with a close family friend of many years.
This gift from his parents was both for Christmas
and his graduation. I know he will get much use from this Lap Top computer.
And here we are, finally, a picture of Jeff and I with our oldest Grandson, Ansir.
