Baptism for children of God.

March 15th 2015 was a very special day when our two grandchildren were brought to Baptism in our Lord Jesus.

Baptism is so very special as God comes to us, adopts us as His very own, forgiving our sins, (symbolized by the black robes) and promises us victory over death that we may live forever in Heaven with our Lord and Savior.

Matthew 28:19  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Ghost

My husband and I were not in attendance since we were on a pre scheduled trip to Hawaii.  We so very much enjoy these touching photos that made us feel a part of their baptism.  We did however include both children and their family in prayer, Jeff, along with me and our 4 friends joining us in Hawaii,  had a devotion on Baptism and prayer.  With faith in the one true God, we know He was touching us with one arm of love at the same time He was touching them

This is the family and the white or very light clothing represents the being washed white as snow in the blood of the Lamb.  FORGIVEN

Left, our grandchildren are pictured with the pastor and the Baptismal font.

Here they are pictured with one set of their sponsors or Godparents.

Below they pose by the cross cake their mother made for the celebration.

We pray that God will always hold them close, sending His Holy Spirit to work a lasting faith.
