Christmas 2020 the year of COVID distancing and toilet paper shortage. !

This is the clever new snow measuring device that Jeff bought.  As you can see, God blessed us with a good snow fall, this one measured about 10 1/2 “.

We traveled to Nebraska to spend Christmas with our oldest daughter and family.
This is the gorgeous Christmas tree and lots of packages.  When you have 5 children and the grandparents come, that is what happens!

This is Martin the family dog with his good friend Mulligan   who they were dog sitting.

One of our oldest daughters memorable gifts was our license plate from the vehicle we drove while we were stationed in Germany.  Her younger sister got the other license plate.  The green VW Passat is the vehicle in Germany.

This is a picture of the German Vehicle.

Our youngest granddaughter loved this umbrella and her “IN STYLE “ hat!

This was their family gift from our youngest daughter.

Our grandson was very surprised and pleased when he received his school jacket from his parents.

Fun time with family photos shoot.  Only missing one, our second to oldest grandson.

Our youngest granddaughter had been wanting the  Church Christmas Eve part of Mary the mother of Baby Jesus, She finally was chosen her final year in the Nativity program.

Our youngest granddaughter and her Papa have always been close!   Here they are ready for Christmas.

This was a beautiful metal gift from our youngest daughter

You know it’s Christmas when there’s many freshly baked cookies just waiting to be decorated.  Everyone  had a hand in the decorating process.  They turned out beautiful and delicious too!

This is an original bathroom decoration.  The reason it is so fitting is the COVID shortage of toilet paper.  Too bad we weren’t supposed to have house guests or home parties.

My good friend and Nieghbor , Arlene with the sleigh greens arrangement , I bought at the German Christmas market.  She loved it.

Christmas is always very special as we celebrate Jesus Birthday.  This is our Church at Black Hawk, SD  Divine Shepherd LCMS.

This is the famous Bullock Motel and casino in Deadwood.

A Teflon ice skating area.

Jeff and I enjoyed a German Christmas market at Deadwood.  We loved the hot warming coffee with Irish Cream.   You should try it!

Covid almost canceled our annual friend Christmas party But God gave us a couple warm 70° days and we decided to have our party at a nearby park.  It was beautiful and a lot of fun as usual.  The theme was  “ Angels We Have Heard on High”.
This had to be the funniest, most clever themed anonymous gift.  It was a cloud with herd of toy calves with wings on them.
