Fall sightings.

Our hedge is a beautiful varied colors of gold, orange and reds. The petunia's are blooming as big and beautiful as they can before the inevitable freeze takes the life from them.
Isaiah 40:7-8 "All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the
flowers of the field. The grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of our GOD STANDS forever.

The creek is still running and this is a great sight for this time of year in our area. We have had several years with little rain and the creek barely trickling.
John 7:37-38 On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said,
streams of living water will flow from within him."
Now wouldn't it be fun to try one of these two Wheeler's?

Two frisky squirrels were watching us as we hiked around "their" tree's.

The ducks followed us along the creek with hopes we had goodies to toss to them.
I really like the beauty of the WOOD DUCK. It has such distinct markings that it almost looks fake. We did find a apple tree and bit off small pieces of apple to throw to them. They loved it!
Another fall adventure was up in the Hills to pan for GOLD. First we found a nice shallow creek or stream. Then we got out our spade, shovel and pan.

We looked -- -------and looked---------and looked! Do you see any gold?
1 Peter 1:18-19 For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold
that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of Christ ,
a lamb without blemish or defect.

It was a very nice calm day and we certainly enjoyed our time. But as for Gold, the only gold we found was the gold of Gods beautiful creation, sights and sounds. Below are pictures of our almost 15 year old dog enjoying time outside in the fresh air.

He was a happy dog!
