Our 45th Anniversary May 14, 2017

Jeff and I were married on a
Sunday, Mothers Day 1972.
It was special our 45th Anniversary fell on a Sunday, Mothers Day 2017
We had these flowers put on the Altar at our Zion LCMS  in Thanksgiving to God for His many blessings and guiding our marriage. We were at the Reservation Mission Church so didn't get to see them during worship.  We did enjoy them for many days as they lasted a good 10 days or more.

These 2 pictures, above and below, are from our wedding day 45 years ago.  It was in ND and 90 degrees that May 14th.  We did not have an official photographer but enjoyed many photos from family and friends.

It was a very beautiful day for our church service on the Reservation.  After we got home about 5 PM,  we enjoyed a yard party with some of our close friends.
The men.

Nothing like segregation.
I guess we can visit better with men at one table and women at the other. LOL

Here we are with a special celebration
 Ice Cream cake.

Our friend Curt came with his
new 3 wheeler bike.

He is a Harley- Davidson Man.

More Anniversary pictures from our yard party.

Jeff and I had wanted a small camper for some time now.  We found this sweet little thing and bought it as our Anniversary gift to each other.
We hope to get many years of enjoyment from this camper. Below you can see pictures of the inside.  It is very comfortable and has all we need as we travel or just camp.
Roomy bathroom on the end.

The bed and storage is at the front of the camper.

Nice kitchen area with sink, stove,
microwave and fridge.

Eating booth that can double as another bed.
The door Leeds to the bathroom.

Jeff gave me this fun t-shirt for our Anniversary.  It is true,  I did spend March watching April the giraffe on internet web cam.   She finally gave birth to her male giraffe on Saturday before Easter., April 15th.

We enjoyed camping both at Chamberlain and at Yankton SD in May.

I just have to share a few pictures of spring flowers.  It is always so amazing to me how wondrously God has created the world and the intricate design and beauty He brings to us through flowers.

Double daffodils.

God bless you with the assurance that if God would take care of the birds of the air and dress the flowers so beautifully, He will certainly take care of you.

Read Luke 12:27 and 28.
