lakes and fishing

A few days ago me and my husband went to a couple lakes to try our luck at bank fishing. We would have taken the boat except the main battery was dead and needed to be charged.
We hadn't driven the grizmobile, ( our van camper) for a couple months so we took it up in the hills to our favorite lakes.
)
This lake was way low last year this time. We could drive half way across before even getting to water and no way could we dock a boat. It is full up this year and very beautiful as you can see from the next few pictures.
This is Packtola Lake to the East.
To the North.

To the North West through the tall pine trees.
This is Sheridan Lake. It was a nice peaceful day.

To the South.

To the North!

To the North East

To the sky!
Notice the bird? I had fun watching a pair of big beautiful gliding birds, I think they were eagles, not so sure about if they were bald eagles or not. They just wouldn't get close enough, but they were fun to watch.
Where are the fish you ask? W-E-L-L we didn't have such good luck with the fishing but it was a fun day and nice to be out in the fresh air in the hills. As I watched the Eagles soar overhead, I couldn't help but think of the many times in scripture, the Bible, that God refers to Eagles.
Did you know that Eagles migrate over Jerusalem and thousands of them have a lay over on their flight south to Africa. So when God talks about Eagles, the Jews understood what he was telling them. Look up Eagle in a Bible concordance and check out some of the any verses.
