Enjoying God's beautiful creation.

As most of you know, my job is being a School Bus Aid which means about 4 hours a day on a school bus. Its great to get to know and love the children but an added feature to my job is the gorgeous sights. Below are some of the sights we travel by every day. These beautiful flower gardens throughout our city seem most brilliant just before the hard freeze.

These pictures were taken Oct 10th. On the 12th they all froze since it got down to 26 degrees. Most of the flower plots have been cleared by city workers and ground worked and ready for early next spring.

The many trees in our city are even more colorful now.
Oct 10th was just the start of all the color.
We have two big circular gardens at the Western part of our city. This is the upper garden, the garden below is the sunken garden.

On October 14th my husband and I had the opportunity to pleasure drive up in the hills. You can see the color against the dark bull pine hill side. As we got higher in the hills, there was a beautiful white covering of snow. Some areas had as much as 18". The ski resort actually opened early this year.

Back at home, this is our youngest daughter and our grandson before they left for home. We certainly enjoyed couple days they were here. Our hedge is colorful for fall.

These are my flowers 2 days before the frost.

Last weekend we took the Grizmobile and boat to one of our favorite lakes. The weather was perfect and so were the sights.

It's hard to believe how low this lake was just 3 short months ago. This popular landmark Island was not even surrounded by water but dry ground. It's amazing how several good rains can put about 20 feet of water in a low lake.

I will end with the nice size bass my husband caught. Fishing wasn't great last weekend but at least we didn't get skunked. I caught a nice eating size trout too.
Take time to enjoy God's beautiful art work, His creation.
