We had breakfast at the lake side restaurant. Went for a short hike.
I loved the contrast of this big budding tree against the dark blue sky and green pines.
We hiked past this cute little cabin.
This is the 100 year old cabin that belonged to a poet who loved living in this beautiful setting. He lived there until he died and gave tours and talks. It's still such a pretty home with all the furnishings still in place. There is tours of the home from May 30th until Sept. 1st.
Here we are with our friends. We just had to sit on this patio to enjoy the fresh pine forest sent and feel the breeze. I think we could all imagine living here.
